Kids Muay Thai · Ages 5+

FITNESS, FOCUS AND REAL CONFIDENCE.

Most parents don't come to us looking for a fighter. They come looking for a kid who can focus at school, burn off an enormous amount of energy, and learn that hard things are learnable — taught safely, patiently, and properly.

TECHNIQUE BEFORE CONTACT

Kids spend most of every class on footwork, pads and drills — not hitting each other. Real Muay Thai fundamentals, taught with patience.

SPARRING IS OPTIONAL

No child spars until they're ready. Rounds are short, supervised, and paired by control — not just size or age. The moment control drops, the round stops.

COME WATCH FIRST

Parents are welcome at any class, any time, no fuss. Come see what a normal Tuesday looks like before your child joins in.

GOOD QUESTIONS

What age can kids start?

Kids classes run for ages 5 and up, Monday to Friday from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. Sessions build fitness, focus, confidence and real self-defence skills in a safe, disciplined environment.

Is my 5-year-old actually ready for a class like this?

Yes — the 5:30 PM kids class is built for exactly that age, not scaled down from a teen or adult session. A typical hour is warm-up games, one simple technique taught step by step, pad drills with a coach or partner, and a fun finisher — no full-contact sparring, no complex combinations, and no expectation that a five-year-old will sit still between drills. Coaches are used to short attention spans and structure the class around it.

Is it safe though?

It's the first question every parent asks, and it deserves a straight answer: a well-run kids Muay Thai class is one of the safest sports your child can do, because control is the entire curriculum. Technique comes before contact, sparring is always optional and closely supervised, and gear is on for any partner work.

What should my kid bring to their first class?

Comfortable sports gear, a water bottle and a towel — that's it. Training is barefoot on the mats, and we'll sort your child out with gloves and pads for their first sessions.

Can I watch the class?

Always. You're welcome to stay and watch any class, any time — most parents do, especially for the first few sessions.

What happens after kids classes — do they graduate to adult classes?

Older kids and teens move into the 6:30 PM Teens & Adults class when they're ready, and plenty of parents end up training in that same session while their kids finish up nearby. Saturday is the family session where everyone trains together.
